Franklin County authorities found 19- year- old Lakisha Stockton shot to death in her father's home.

Her boyfriend then apparently shot himself in the face.
Authorities say Gill will be charged with murder.

More stranded tourists and residents will be airlifted from an Arizona canyon this morning.
The evacuations began yesterday when torrential rains caused flash flooding on an Indian reservation southwest of the Grand Canyon.
Officials say up to 400 tourists were vacationing in a canyon on the reservation when three to four inches of rain soaked the area within two- and- a- half hours yesterday.
Helicopters rescued about 60 people yesterday before darkness set in.

Beyer told a meeting of local officials in Charlottesville yesterday that the G-O-P administration has made Virginia a national laughingstock when it comes to anti-pollution enforcement.
Beyer unveiled a package of clean air and water proposals, including rebuilding the state Department of Environmental Quality.
The department underwent a controversial reorganization under Allen that caused the Environmental Protection Agency to raise questions about whether the state can adequately enforce pollution laws.

But the Reithoffer organization is one of only five traveling shows in the country that has its own school program for the children of the workers.
From April to November, 15 to 18 students spend six hours a day in a trailer learning reading, writing and arithmetic.

The Food and Drug Administration has asked the fourth U-S Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a lower court ruling that blocked the F-D-A from regulating tobacco advertising.
A federal judge in North Carolina ruled in April that the F-D-A can regulate only the sale, distribution and use of tobacco.
The F-D-A contends that advertising and promotion are integral components in selling and distributing tobacco.
