A fire in Smyth county- is spewing toxic fumes into the air.
People within a mile of the Marley Mouldings warehouse are being evacuated-
and state police say people who smell smoke in that area- should leave.

The warehouse is on Route 22 in the Atkins Community which is 13 miles west
of Wytheville.
The warehouse caught fire at about 6:30- sending a toxic cloud into the air.
The fire is under control and no one's been hurt.
Police are also advising people driving through the area on Route 81 or
Route 11- to keep their windows and vents closed.
State Police in Wytheville are handling the problem. If you live in that
area and have concerns, you can reach the state police at 1-800 542-8716.
Please do not call that number if you are not in the immediate area of the
fire.
The cloud poses no threat to people more than a few miles from the scene.

The preliminary autopsy of 22 year old Heidi Guenther did not rule out an

The Boston Ballet dancer, who was five-foot three, died suddenly
