Usually tax cuts are music to the ears of business executives.
But now a group of business leaders is warning politicians it may be time to raise taxes to repair Virginia's schools and roads.
The more than 100 executives -- including well-connected Republicans and Democrats -- plan to use their clout and wealth to accomplish what they say politicians can't or won't.

The executives decided to take their crusade statewide.
They're upset the governor's race between Democrat Don Beyer and Republican Jim Gilmore has become an advertising war over whose tax cut is better.
Both Beyer and Gilmore have proposed ways of reducing the burden of the personal property tax.
