Some scary moments for a Bedford County pilot who made a crash landing in
some TREES yesterday.
He was trying to get to Martinsville when he got caught in the cross winds
above Bedford County.

Two Bedford residents were killed in a car crash on the interstate
yesterday.
It happened on Interstate 81 near Wytheville when a pick-up truck struck
another car causing a chain reaction.
Four cars were involved in the wreck.
64- year- old Roby Lee Hubbard and 62- year- old Pearl Hubbard died in the
Wythe County Community hospital shortly afterward.
Both were wearing their seatbelts at the time.
