He's getting a new trial for the murder of a Roanoke County woman.
But a judge today agreed to move the trial to next February.

Mullins.
Mullins was shot in the face at the front door of her home in the Mount
Pleasant section of the county.

including a gun that's in the custody of the Franklin County sheriff.

A teacher's aide is accused of having consensual sex with a 13-year old
student at Auburn High school in Riner.
25-year old John Breedlove of Roanoke was arraigned in Montgomery County
General District Court today.
Sheriff's officials say the incident happened at the school last week while

Off the field yesterday, the Phillies were saddened by the death of
legendary player and broadcaster Richie Ashburn.

The Hall of Fame centerfielder played for the Phillies from 1948 to
1959. He was a broadcaster for the team for the last 35 years.
Ashburn is also a two-time batting champion and for his career he hit .308 in
15 big-league seasons.
He is still considered one of the best lead-off hitters of all-time.
Richie Ashburn was 70.

The Hockey Hall of Fame is adding three new members, including one who is
barely into retirement.
Today in Toronto, Mario Lemieux, Brian Trottier, and Glen Sather were elected
to the hall. They will be inducted on November 17th.
Trottier doesn't have the name like Lemieux, but he does have six Stanley Cup
titles with the Pens and Islanders.

Now a source says Seven up is channging its flavor.
The Soft drink has been losing market share to Sprite.

In Frankfurt today, Chrysler unveiled a car that gets 50 miles to the
gallon and weighs just 12-hundred pounds.
The Composite Concept Vehicle is made mostly from the same type of plastic
as soda bottles.
It has a two cylinder engine and is expected to sell for about six thousand
dollars.
