The Nichols' aren't sure exactly when they started giving tours of their apple farm to children. But they think it was around 20 years ago because the kids they have pictures of from their first one...are now graduating high school.
Over time the local apple farm tour has become so popular that they start taking tour reservations on July first and are usually filled for the season by the end of the week.
