Bodyguard Trevor Rees Jones is the man investigators hope will answer many
questions that surround the crash.
But it appears Trevor Rees Jones doesn't remember the crash.
One report says he does recall when they first got into the car and that
driver Henri Paul seemed fine.
French investigators said Paul had three times the french blood alcohol
Paul's body has been released from a Paris morgue where it had been held
for further testing.
He'll be buried on Saturday.

Back in England, Prince Charles attended his first public engagement since
his ex-wife's death.
The Prince got a warm reception at a community center- where he thanked the
public for its support.

A passenger train crashed near London-
Authorities say six passengers were killed and more than 140 were injured-
The packed express train plowed into a freight train in Southall just West
The train then caught fire- trapping some passengers inside.

Railroad officials said the empty freight train was being moved into a

Back in the U-S, an Amtrak work train caught fire in Maryland-- disrupting
service this morning for commuters between Baltimore and Washington, DCTERMS.
The blaze broke out on the engine about four this morning, ten miles north
of the nation's capitol.
An Amtrak spokesman says it appears the fire was caused by hydraulic fluid
No one was injured--
Two high-voltage lines fell onto the burning train-- so overhead power was
cut before the blaze could be put out.
Amtrak says the damage was NOT serious.
When Wachovia announced it was taking over Central Fidelity bank, many
wondered how that would affect the estimated 600 Central Fidelity employees in
Part of that question was answered today as bank officials met with city
government and business leaders.
Wachovia says it will consolidate Lynchburg's bank information center with a
similar facility in Winston- Salem, North Carolina.

The Valley View Mall area continues to grow.
A Target Discount store will go up next door to Wal Mart.
Grading has already started on the last large parcel of land available.
Target is one of the most successful discount chains in the country, and is
Wal Mart's chief rival.
Sources tell News 7 Target won't be the only new store in this development.
Five other companies have reportedly signed up, including the Sports
Authority, Pet-smart, and the restaurant Ruby Tuesday's.
