It looks like the Army's top enlisted man WILL face a court-martial over
sexual misconduct charges.
A military hearing officer today recommended court martial for Sergeant
major of the Army Gene McKinney on 22 charges of sexual misconduct.
McKinney didn't testify during his two-month hearing, but in sworn
statements, he denied all the allegations and said the case was racially
motivated.

But he was a "single" man. McGwire went 2 for 5 with an R-B-I single as the
Cards lost to the Cubs 4-to-3.
McGwire now has 10 games left to hit eight homers and tie Roger Maris'
all-time record.

In California, a motorist apparently decided to go for a swim except the
pool was empty and the driver never left the truck.

Police say the motorist apparently lost control of the vehicle, which ended
up head first in the drained motel swimming pool.
The driver was only slightly injured, but the truck is NOT looking its best.
