Lisa Bailey was supposed to tell her story to a Roanoke jury this week.
She sued her employer, the Scott-Gallaher company, when she was fired after becoming pregnant.
She said they told her having a child would make her "unreliable."
A judge ruled against her at the first trial, but the Virginia Supreme Court said the judge was wrong and ordered a new one.

Defense lawyer Roy Black did his talking in court .. in his opening statement to the jury of 7-women and 5-men ... black. accused the alleged victim of making up her story of sexual abuse ... saying she's quote ... unbalanced ... vindicitve ... and out for revenge. Crews had trouble battling the blaze after the first floor caved in.
The owner's girlfriend was home at the time.
She was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

The international accounting firm celebrated something it calls a "World of Spirit Day".
Both in the Roanoke Valley and all across the country, employees from K-P-M-G offices did volunteer work- They painted, cleaned and even did some landscaping.
In our area, agencies that benefitted include the Virginia Baptist Children's Home, Trust, and the Child Abuse Prevention Council.
