The head of Hillsville's volunteer rescue squad wants his resignation to cause a stir.

As Teresa Hamilton reports-- Edwards' opinion isn't too popular with county officials.

It appears much of the confusion is caused by a difference of opinion over what constitutes an emergency.

Edwards has the support of at least two local nursing home administrators.
