Marv Albert's accuser is telling her side to an Arlington Jury.
She is now on the stand at the Albert's sexual abuse trial.
Earlier today, a police officer testified that he saw the woman outside the
Arlington Ritz Carlton hotel gagging.
He says she showed him welts and bruises on her back, and what he says he
recognized as human bite marks.
The N-B-C sportscaster is accused of biting the woman several times and
forcing her to perform oral sex.
The Senate Finance Committee has opened three days of hearings into alleged
abuses by the I-R-S.
Committee Chairman Senator William Roth accuses the agency of acting above
Some of the accusations against the agency include going after small
taxpayers who can't fight back.
Current and former I-R-S agents are expected to testify in the hearings.
Meantime another Senate panel investigating campaign finance abuses turns
its attention today to soft money.
That's the term that describes donations that are to be used only to build
up political parties -- and not to back specific candidates.
Many experts say the hunt for
soft-money is at the heart of many of the problems in the campaign finance
Yesterday, Mr. Clinton insisted that he and Vice President Gore did nothing
illegal when they solicited campaign contributions last year.

Police have reportedly been at work again today in the tunnel where Princess
Diana was killed.
Judicial sources say they've been scraping paint off of the tunnel wall and
a pillar, looking for indications that a second car was involved in the crash.
Traces of paint that didn't come from a Mercedes were found earlier at the
scene of the crash.
And witnesses have said they saw
a car leave the scene shortly after the accident took place.

Mayor Bowers said he would look into the accusations, while the city

A landmark case on the rights of pregnant women in Virginia ended in an out
of court settlement.
Lisa Bailey was supposed to tell her story to a Roanoke jury this week.
She sued her employer, the Scott-Gallaher company, when she was fired after
She said they told her having a child would make her "unreliable."
A judge ruled against her at the first trial, but the Virginia Supreme Court
overturned the ruling and ordered a new trial.
Bailey's attorney says Scott-Gallaher is paying her an undisclosed sum to
settle the case.
The U-S military came close to having another aircraft disaster today.
A Navy plane lost one wheel and caught fire as it was landing at this NATO
air base on the island of Crete.
No one on board was injured.
Sixteen Americans were killed last week in six U.S. military air crashes.
That prompted Secretary of Defense William Cohen to order 24 hour military
flight suspensions to focus on Safety.
Air Force jets are back in the sky today following the stand down yesterday.
The Navy, Marine Corps and Army will conduct similar one day pauses some
time this week.

expansion of a lake that feeds the resort's snowmaking machinery.
That has raised concerns about the impact on trout fishing downstream, but
that part of the project won't happen this year and Snowshoe officials say they
will work with the state to insure that the trout fishing isn't affected.

Edwards believes the ambulance service, which is stationed in Galax, is
refusing to handle certain calls, because of distance.

in bonds when they vote in November.
It's a vote the business community wants citizens to take seriously, because
the money will go toward a variety of projects.
