(( 23-year-old Andre Eugene Evans was arraigned on first degree and capital murder charges this morning.
Witnesses say the deadly confrontation began last night as an argument over tennis shoes.
A gun came out and two people ended up on the ground at the intersection of South and Franklin Streets.
25-year-old Timothy Ray Robinson, known in the neighborhood as Timbu, died at the scene.
25 year old Lorin Tyler Murphy, nicknamed "Chu", died at Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Police say the neighborhood, once a place to buy crack cocaine, has been quiet for the past 2 years, and so far there is NO evidence drugs were involved in this incident.
Both victims had criminal records and Evans had several recent run-ins with the law, including one last year, when a Bedford police officer tried to arrest him on an assault warrant.
Evan's uncle, Carl Thomas Evans grabbed the officer, wrestled him to the ground, choked him, and took his gun.
Carl Evans was sentenced to five years in prison, Andre Evans got away, and was later charged with escape and resisting arrest.
