created because of his status and his sins.
MARV ALBERT/SPORTSCASTER:
Albert cut a deal and pled guilty to the lesser charge of assault
and battery. He could have faced life in Prison if he was convicted of
Forcible sodomy.
Prosecutors say he was done in by this woman's testimony
Wednesday. She said Albert attacked her bit her in 1993 and again in '94 -
once while wearing women's panties and a garter belt.
The judge ruled her testimony was a carbon copy of the allegations
in this trial - that Marv Albert forced this 42-yr old women to perform oral
sex and bit her back in a Virginia Hotel room last February.
Prosecutor said he offered Albert the same deal months, but he
refused.
