Italian television captured dramatic pictures today of collapsing buildings
as two earthquakes rocked central Italy.
At least eight people were killed.
Among them were two friars who were killed in the second quake.
They were inspecting the famed Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi
(ah-SEE'-see) for damage from the initial 5 point 5 earthquake, when another
one struck causing the roof to collapse.

It's taken more than two decades, but finally some justice in a car bomb
attack in Roanoke County that killed a two- year- old.
Seventy six year old Frank Helvestine didn't plant the pipe bomb, but he did
provide the parts to build it.
Yesterday, a judge handed him a 12 year prison term.

drove off the road, smashing into the Glenvar Heights Road underpass.
