with E. coli (ee KOH'-ly) turned up in an Emporia, Virginia supermarket.
She says the meat originated at a BeefAmerica plant in Norfolk, Nebraska.
But BeefAmerica says it doesn't believe the plant is the source
of the contamination.
Meat from the plant is not under recall. No illnesses have been
reported from the tainted beef.

An accident in Halifax County killed a North Carolina man this morning.
State police say 41-year-old Robin Dennis Lowe was driving north on route
501 near route 40 around 9-30.
He lost control of his tractor trailer, hit a guardrail and overturned onto
a van.
Lowe died at the scene.
Two people in the van were transported to Lynchburg General Hospital.
There is no word on their conditions.
The accident is still under investigation.

Danville will soon be getting a boost to its economic development.
Housing Secretary Andrew Cuomo announced Friday that the city will receive
two million dollars in economic development assistance.
The money will help to expand the Riverview Industrial Park,
creating approximately 800 new jobs for local residents.
The money will also be used to finance road construction and to extend
water, sewer and gas lines for the 425-acre site.

Europe led by five points going into the final 12 singles matches. The
Europeans clinched at least a tie when Berhnard Langer parred the seventh hole
to beat Brad Faxon two and one.
Europe wins it 14 and a half to 13 and a half but on the final day the
United States won seven singles matches to make it close.
