Virginia's unemployment rate has taken a dip.
It's fallen four- point- one percent in August to its lowest level in eight years.
That number for the same period last year was four- point- three percent.
Virginia officials say the continuing improvement is the result of students leaving the job force to return to school and a boom in construction.
