The Presidents proposal would add hundreds of inspectors and send many of them overseas to monitor food handling.
Mr clinton is also ordering new guidelines for american farms. some domestic fruit is contaminated by dirty water and the manure used as fertilizer. but the new standards will not be mandatory. food safety experts think thats a mistake. They came to Glen Muary Park in Buena Vista --the next to last site in a 10-stop trek. Their final destination--the Promisekeepers rally in Washington, DC, Saturday where many hope to spiritually heal themselves and the nation.

Ferrum Panther Nate Daniels is much more than your stereotypical college football player.
He's a young man who likes to hit notes as much as wide receivers.

((As a member of the jazz ensemble; Nate Daniels is a musician, a student and an athlete; three of the many attributes that separate him from mainstream college life. ((:)) ((TEACHER:))
The junior criminal justice major/music minor plays for Ferrum's football team and the Jazz ensemble. ((:)) ((STEVE MASON:)) ((:)) ((DAVE DAVIS:))
However Coach Davis and the team's admiration comes with a small price. ((:)) Nate feels it is his duty to be a role model. After college; Daniels will test the professional football waters before pursuing a career in the FBI. And no matter how hectic his busy life may become; Nate will always have a remedy. ((:))

Ryan Kurlander is the unofficial mascot for the Florida Marlins baseball team.
Known affectionately as "Muscle Boy," this fourth grader has been "WOW-ING" the crowd on the Jumbo-tron at Pro Player stadium.
With the Marlin's making the playoffs, Ryan's enthusiastic posing has earned HIM national attention.
He's in New York City tonight where you can see him next on the Late Show with David Letterman.
