For the second time in less than
three weeks, an American military plane has crashed.
This time a Navy F-14 Tomcat fighter went down off the coast of North
Carolina- near the Virginia Border
The fighter jet was on a routine training flight.
The Navy says one crew member was
rescued and a search is under way for another.
New safety standards are going into place to protect the fruits and
vegetables you eat.
President Clinton's order today- will affect what makes it to your dinner

Mr clinton is also ordering new guidelines for american farms.

used as fertilizer. but the new standards will not be mandatory.

A 16 year old pleads innocent to a shooting rampage at a Mississippi High
Luke Woodham was escorted into court today wearing a bullet proof vest.
Police say the 10th grader fatally stabbed his mother at home- and then
opened fire at the high school- killing SUPER=04-Yesterday;
two girls- including his girlfriend.
Investigators said the shooting stemmed from problems the teen had with the
girl he dated.
A New Jersey 15 year old faces a court hearing tomorrow-
for the rape and killing of this boy- 11 year old Eddie Werner.
Werner had been out selling school wrapping paper when he was murdered.

Today police confirmed he had been sexually assaulted a year ago- by a

Fire burned out of control at a warehouse in Birmingham, Alabama-

Christian Motorcyclists Association are winding up their cross-country bike
They came to Glen Muary Park in Buena Vista --the next to last site in a
10-stop trek. Their final destination--the Promisekeepers rally in Washington,
DC, Saturday where many hope to spiritually heal themselves and the nation.

The junior criminal justice major/music minor plays for Ferrum's football
team and the Jazz ensemble.
However Coach Davis and the team's admiration comes with a small price.
Nate feels it is his duty to be a role model. After college; Daniels will test
the professional football waters before pursuing a career in the FBI. And no
matter how hectic his busy life may become; Nate will always have a remedy.
