survival.
Today's New England Journal of Medicine reports on two studies.

They found women given a combination of three treatments -- surgery,
chemotherapy and radiation -- had the best chance of being alive and
cancer-free, ten years later.
The radiation improved the outcome -- even when the breast cancer has
spread to lymph nodes.
And adding radiation to chemotherapy and surgery was especially beneficial
for younger women.

Lynchburg, but now a statue of a Confederate soldier is being given a new home.

Recently, the Fincastle camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans bought the
