Governor Allen has announced the tire factory has a new 28- million dollar deal to make high performance radial tires.
The expansion will allow the company to manufacture tires for cars and R-V's.
The production line is expected to be installed next July, and completed in early 19-99.

Lynchburg fire officials say an electrical short sparked a blaze that heavily damaged a trailer home this morning.

Crews were called to lot-209 at the Terry Court trailer park around 10:30.
They were able to quickly bring the blaze under control, but not before much of the interior was gutted.
Firefighters credit a neighbor with a garden hose for keeping the fire contained until crews arrived.
Authorities say the cord to a curling iron short circuited and caught a chair on fire.
The family renting the trailer was not home when the fire broke out.

This is the brand new NASCAR Monopoly game from Hasbro.

This school clean up at Taft Junior High in Washington is all part of an "all male" Christan rally.
The promisekeeprs are 500 thousand strong on this trip to Washington.
Today's cleanup is just one event leading up to a big rally tommorrow on the National mall. (----------------)
