A small plane carrying several men crashed in a Washington suburb.
All six passengers were hospitalized, but their injuries were not life threatening.
The plane was traveling from Pennsylvania when it crashed on a commuter rail line.

A fifteen year old boy is charged with the killing.

But in Floyd County all that is changing, with the opening of a new, free medical clinic.

Floyd County residents who used to make the 30 minute trip to Christiansburg, to seek free medical care, just have to travel to downtown Floyd.
The clinic is located at the County Health Department and will offer services on the first and third Monday evenings of each month.

Firefighters think a fire that closed off part of the downtown Blacksburg area today was accidental.

It happened shortly after five p-m, in the 100 block of North Main Street.
Fire swept through an apartment located above a store called The Clothes Rack.
One firefighter was hospitalized for smoke inhalation, and two residents wre treated at the scene for burns.
The Clothes Rack store suffered water damage.
Fire officials believe the fire started in a sofa on the deck outside the apartment.

Hundreds of tourists were evacuated from a cruise ship that caught fire off the coast of Cyprus this morning.

British helicopters based in Cyprus helped evacuate passengers to a nearby ship.

Most of the passengers were from Britain, Russia, and Germany, on a three day cruise to Egypt and Israel.

It's designed with doors that heat up.

Miami was leading 14 to 10 but Oxendine carries the ball three yards for the score to give the Hokies a 17 to 14 halftime lead.

And Mike Stevens says head coach Frank Anzalone only has a few days to evaluate the talent before his team opens the preseason.

College faculty and students act as partners in the event.
