Police say Percy Levar Walton killed and robbed an elderly couple and a 33-year old man last November.
Police found Jesse and Elizabeth Kendrick dead in their north Danville condominium.
Later that week, Archie Moore was found in a nearby apartment, stuffed inside a closet.
All three victims had been shot in the head and wrapped in sheets.
Commonwealth's Attorney Bill Fuller says Walton sprayed one corpse with cologne to hide the stench and later told fellow prisoners about the crime.

What the Chapins don't know, is they may be able to have that same peace of mind, without their 20 dollar monthly service fee.
In the Roanoke area, with a disconnected GTE cellular phone, you can dial pound-311, and you'll connect with the roaming network that will let you use a credit card or call collect, for about a dollar-twenty five a minute.
If you have a disconnected U.S. Cellular phone... you can NOT access the roaming system... but if you switch your phone from system A over to system B, you can still access the roaming network through GTE.
And no matter what system you're on, if you are in range of a tower, you can dial 911.

But customers may not be getting the full story from cellular sales people.
We called several Roanoke sales offices and asked them if we could use our telephone after it is disconnected...
One GTE rep said yes we could, another didn't know and another said told us we couldn't us a credit card OR dial 911.
U.S cellular sales reps correctly told us we couldn't use a credit card on THEIR system with a disconnected phone, but 2 also told us we couln't dial 911.
A U.S. Cellular official told us those salespeople are misinformed, saying "We try to train them and give them as much information as we can, unfortunately in any industry you change personnel often, and sometimes, occasionally, you might miss one."

Cline says he sent a memo to his sales force, telling them that all phones, regardless of status, can dial 911.
