California officials have confirmed the body pulled from the wreckage of a
small plane crash in Monterey Bay is that of singer John Denver.

Denver was one of the most famous residents of Aspen, Colorado in his beloved

life causes.. in 1976 establishing the non-profit windstar foundation to
support environmental education and research.
