The death of a Pulaski County football player is still a mystery.
16-year-old Danny Lee Cook, Junior died last night after playing against
William Fleming High School.
Roanoke Police confiscated the game tapes.
Both investigators and commonwealth's attorney, Don Caldwell, viewed them.
Caldwell, a high school official, determined the play was routine.

He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Preliminary autopsy results were inconclusive.

A brush fire in California that scorched more than 5-thousand acres earlier
in the week continues to burn even after firefighters thought they'd put it
out.

The latest fire, which broke out about 11:30 a.m. torched more than 200
acres so far.
Six air tankers, two helicopters, and 26 engines were called in to fight the
flames.

An attorney for a murder suspect has subpoened Internet records from the
Ventura County Star, asking for unpublished e-mail, and demographic information
about the web-site users.
The paper's on-line version published extensive reports on the trial of a
another defendent in the murder case and solicited reader responses.
An attorney for the murder suspect says since the website goes beyond the
newspaper's circulation area, it could contaminate jury pools in other areas.
If you use music on your web page, Broadcast Media Incorperated, or BMI, may
be listening.
The music licensing agency is using a program called "Music Bot" to search
the web and make sure sites using or selling music are paying the proper
licensing fees.
