take Bramblett's keys and have the locks changed.
Kathy Dales and others said signs posted on both doors of the Hodges' home
appeared to have been written by Teresa. But witnesses said they knew of no
"family emergency" that would have kept them away.
William Ransom says Bramblett found him in the basement of the Hodges home
with the Hodges' 11-year old daughter, Winter. Bramblett spoke harshly to her,
Ransom said... upset with Winter that she was there with another man.))

A law enforcement officer from the U-S Forest Service testified that he saw
Earl Bramblett with Teresa Hodges and the girls near the Blue Ridge Parkway in
Botetourt County Sunday afternoon, the day before the bodies were found.
There was nothing unusual. They all appeared relaxed, the Forest Service
Officer said.
According to what the medical examiner told the jury today, Blaine Hodges
may already have been dead by the time Bramblett was seen with the rest of the
family that day near the Parkway.

trouble.

The older girl took off, driving all the way to Lynchburg, even buying some
gas when she got there.

She was charged with contributing to the deliquency of minors when they were

At a hearing today, the judge ordered Wright to pay the county police 150
