He'd been practically living at the Hodges home in Vinton. Fulcher wasn't
allowed to say what was troubling Teresa. That would be hearsay.
But based on what she told her father the week before the fire, Fulcher
says he told his daughter to get Bramblett out of the house.

out in court either.

A childhood friend of Teresa Hodges testified she, too, advised Teresa to
take Bramblett's keys and have the locks changed.
Kathy Dales and others said signs posted on both doors of the Hodges' home
appeared to have been written by Teresa. But witnesses said they knew of no
"family emergency" that would have kept them away.
William Ransom says Bramblett found him in the basement of the Hodges home
with the Hodges' 11-year old daughter, Winter. Bramblett spoke harshly to her,
Ransom said... upset with Winter that she was there with another man.))
A law enforcement officer from the U-S Forest Service testified that he saw
Earl Bramblett with Teresa Hodges and the girls near the Blue Ridge Parkway in
Botetourt County Sunday afternoon, the day before the bodies were found.
There was nothing unusual. They all appeared relaxed, the Forest Service
According to what the medical examiner told the jury today, Blaine Hodges
may already have been dead by the time Bramblett was seen with the rest of the
family that day near the Parkway.
The mother of the 11-year-old girl who went for a drive in her mother's car
last summer will have to pay the Roanoke County police department for their

she went inside a fitness club.
The older girl took off, driving all the way to Lynchburg, even buying some
