7Movie Review 10/24/97

"Kiss the girl" is the latest "young women in danger from a serial killer" flick.
Morgan Freeman is intense as a forensic psychologist who becomes involved in a serial kidnapping case after his niece disappears from her room at Duke University. A mysterious figure who calls himself "Casanova" is collecting beautiful and talented women for a harem. He murders them if they displease him.
Ashley Judd does her best work yet as a medical intern who manages to escape from Casanova's clutches. She then works with freeman to try and catch him before he kills any more of his captives.
Kiss the Girls gets a B-. It starts off well and builds suspense but the ending becomes wildly implausible. cutopen
