After months of remaining locked in a dead heat, there seems to be a leader in the race for Virginia governor.
A poll published in today's Washington Post shows Jim Gilmore with 48 percent to Don Beyer's 41 percent.
The poll has a margin of error of three percentage points.
Yesterday Gilmore campaigned with a star from the silver screen.

A traffic accident in Franklin County left one man dead and sent another to the hospital last night.
Shortly before seven, two Ferrum College students were involved in the accident with a tractor trailer on route 6-19.
Brian Ruzzi was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other student was transferred to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Ferrum College representatives say both students are from Virginia Beach.
