A collision with a tractor trailer in Franklin County killed one Ferrum
College student last night.
Brian Ruzzi was pronounced dead at the scene, and the student in the vehicle
was taken to the hospital.
Ferrum College representatives say both students are from Virginia Beach.

some friction between company and union leaders.

jobs in the plant.
Plant officials insist the plan would have provided hourly workers with job
security.
But union leaders reportedly feel the proposal violates their contract by
stripping away seniority rights.
As many as 500- hourly workers could be affected.
Celco makes material for cigarette filters and yarn for synthetic clothes.
