The prosecution will wrap up the first week of testimony against capital murder suspect Early Bramblett today.
Three years ago when local police were trying to convince Bramblett to tell them what he knew about the Hodges murders he was out buying a gun.
Just two days after the bodies were found, STATE Police approved the purchase.
Bramblett used the Hodges' home as HIS address on the firearms form.

Three railroad workers were injured yesterday when two Norfolk Southern trains collided head on.

The crash happened in southern West Virginia near the Kentucky Border.
The two trains slammed into each other- one of the engines caught fire.
State police say the workers saw the crash coming and jumped from the trains before impact.
The workers are hurt, but not seriously.
Both trains were carrying cars loaded with coal.

Cleveland owned a 4-to-2 lead thanks to Sandy Alomar's three-run homer in the third.
But Moises Alou turned things around with the go-ahead three-run homer and added an r-b-i single in the ninth.
Livan Hernandez tossed five straight shutout innings after yielding Alomar's three-run blast.
