Today could be the final day of evidence from the prosecution in the capital murder trial of Earl Bramblett.
Yesterday testimony hit on speculation that the Hodges family was killed as part of a drug hit.
Now it turns out the chief suspect in the multiple murders was planting that notion in people's minds well before the family was killed.

Another chapter could open in the Jens Soering murder case.
The state Supreme Court has agreed to review a Bedford County judge's ruling.
The court will decide whether evidence that could have helped Soering's defense was withheld by the prosecutor.
Soering was convicted in 19-90 for the murders of his girlfriend's parents.
But the prosecutor never told Soering's lawyers that two drifters were picked up in Bedford County the same week as the slayings.
Soering's attorney contends the information could have led to her client's acquittal.
