A fellow inmate say Earl Bramblett admitted last year that he's addicted to
young girls.
Convicted felon Tracy Turner testified today that Bramblett told him he got
caught with a young girl and that he had choked the life out of her mother.

recorded 200 hours of tapes "to make everybody believe he was crazy."
The Commonwealth rested its case today.
The defense presented a story about a mysterious vehicle with New Jersey
tags seen near the Hodges home the morning the fire broke out... and testimony
from a women who said she smoked crack cocaine with Teresa and Blaine Hodges in
the late 80's... to bolster the notion of a drug connection.
The defense is expected to rest ITS case tomorrow.

Jurors are apparently focusing on testimony from a doctor who
operated on the baby.
They asked the judge for transcripts of Dr. Joseph Madsen's testimony.
Madsen described fluid in the baby's skull as red, but later said it was

The defense claims clear liquid would indicate an old injury --
and not one suffered on February fourth, when prosecutors say

the lady Pioneers last night and can only play the spoiler by beating Galax
tomorrow night. The parity between these three clubs should bode well for the
Mountain empire in the post season.

ineligible player who lived outside the school district.
GW officials say the student gave them a wrong address, but their appeal was
denied yesterday and their forfeits must stand.

A report out of Hampton last night says the Crabbers football team is being
investigated for using an ineligible player this season.
If the allegations are true, Hampton, which is ranked nationally, will miss
the playoffs for the first time since 1976.
