Many are bracing themselves for another roller coaster ride on Wall Street after markets rebounded around the globe today.
(----------------)

SUPER=03-Roanoke;

Local investors did not seem to notice the U-S market's record fall Monday or its amazing recovery yesterday.
Instead, they played it cool.
Stockbrokers said their clients were more interested in buying, rather than selling stocks.
That's because more people are investing for the long term.
And that means sticking with a game plan, even when the market has radical swings.

Movie Review
The controversy over Heinrich Harrar, the central character in "Seven Years in Tibet" has overshadowed a fascinating story told with epic scope and great cinematography.
Brad Pitt plays Harrar, and Austrian mountain climber captured by the British in World War II who escapes from a prisoner of war camp in India and finds sanctuary in Tibet. There he befriends the young Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of the Tibetan people.
Pitt is convincing as Harrar and the young man who plays the Dalai Lama is excellent. "Seven Years in Tibet" gets an A-. It is long, slow moving at times and tries to cover too much ground but parts of it are absolutely beautiful. cutopen
