Ironically-- it was the sport that also contributed to his death.
Cook was there the night a rare medical phenomenon caused her son to
collapse on the playing field.
A medical examiner determined Cook was hit in the chest at the same split
second his heart was electrically re-charging itself for another beat.
But Cook says parents shouldn't be alarmed.

Students in Nelson County got an unexpected holiday after vandals paid an
overnight visit to Nelson County High School.

Cleanup was going to take several hours to complete so the students were
