A routine fire call, that turns into a gruesome murder scene.
It sounds like something out of the pages of a detective magazine.

The magazine was introduced as evidence... it's significance never explained... until now.
One article profiles a murder on August 29th- -the day the Hodges were found dead in their home.
Another refers to a note about a "family emergency." Authorities believe Bramblett forced Teresa Hodges to post notes on the door about a family emergency to warn off visitors.
There's an article about setting fire to destroy the evidence.
The same one refers to kerosene splashed all over a woman's body- -just what Bramblett did to Teresa Hodges.
Her charred body was found face down on the living room couch- -her feet sticking up in the air, just like a woman in the magazine.
The master bedroom was made to look like it had been ransacked, "searched thoroughly and left a mess," just as it was in the Hodges house.
Blaine Hodges body was covered with a curtain- -again mimicking the magazine.
Bramblett may even have gotten the idea of ditching evidence in the dumpster behind the sign company where he worked from one of the stories.
Many people believe this was not the first time Bramblett committed a crime involving young girls.
Helen Akers' daughter Tammy disappeared in 1976. She's afraid she'll never know what happened.

(("I know what you did last Summer" is the latest "teens in danger of being chopped into hamburger" flick. It has a few scary moments, but is ultimately disappointing, squandering some good potential plot twists for the same old cliches.
The movie centers around 2 teen couples. The first is a beauty queen played by Sarah Michelle Geller and her obnoxious jock boyfriend played by Ryan Phillippe. Couple number 2 consists of Jennifer Love Hewitt as a studious young girl and Freddie Prinz Jr. as her boyfriend.
The fun begins when the four teens hit a pedestrian on a dark lonely stretch of road. In fear of a manslaughter charge they sink the body into the harbour, only the man isn't completely dead.
When the four start getting threatening letters they try and find out who is stalking them, with predictable results.
The rest of the movie consists of a "man with a hook", referencing an old urban legend, killing off various members of the cast.
There's a lot of running and screaming and the young actors do a good job of both. Anne Heche has a small role as a strange and threatening country woman, but not much is done with the character. "I Know what you did Last Summer" gets a C, after a promising start it ends up being the same old stuff.))
