27-year old Sandra Allen is charged with fatally stabbing her husband during
an argument overnight.
33-year old Lawrence Eugene Allen died from a knife wound to the chest. It
happened at a friend's apartment on Rivermont Avenue.
Authorities say they'd been called in before to handle disputes between the
recently-married couple.
Sandra Allen was appointed an attorney during a brief court appearance this
afternoon.
She remains held without bond in the Lynchburg city jail.

womens basketball team and a die hard Glenvar fan; who supports her husband on
and off the court.

College. Her collegiate experience; both playing and coaching has been a
blessing for Bryan.

One other single A note; Floyd County's Julie Sowers has averaged 34 points
in her last three games. Her 48 point explosion against Shawsville in the

A freak accident in Houston left firefighters with an unusual task.

A woman was trapped underneath a concrete block after she was ejected from
her car.
Emergency crews used shovels to dig the security guard
out from underneath the 1-ton concrete block.
Apparently her car hit the concrete- lifting the pillar which landed on top
of her.
Amazingly she only suffered a broken arm.
