Twenty-seven- year- old Sandra Allen is charged with fatally stabbing her
husband during an argument overnight.
Thirty-three- year- old Lawrence Eugene Allen died from a knife wound to the
chest. It happened at a friend's apartment on Rivermont Avenue.
Authorities say they'd been called in before to handle disputes between the
recently-married couple.
Sandra Allen was appointed an attorney during a brief court appearance
yesterday.
She remains held without bond in the Lynchburg city jail.

of shortness of breath.
Police say doctors couldn't find anything wrong with him, so he was taken to
jail.
All local charges against him were dropped, so he could be immediately
