According to the WHITE HOUSE Saddam Hussein is headed in a deadly direction
unless he's stopped. Reports are he's continuing to amass weapons of mass
destruction including Chemical and biological weapons - missiles he could
use against his enemies or sell to terrorist.
It's a buildup the UNITED NATIONS says will be more dangerous by
the day since Saddam kicked out the six American Weapons inspectors last night
- and the remaining UN inspectors left IRAQ this morning.
The UN Security Council condemned the expulsion. When asked if
diplomacy would be enough to end the crisis with IRAQ. Ambassador Richard
Butler had few words.

Last Friday, Goodyear union members voted AGAINST working a continuous
seven-day a week schedule.
Since the vote, Goodyear has refused to give the Danville plant expansion
money and has begun moving some of its tire machines to Mexico.
The plant in Mexico DOES operate on Sundays.

The union's vice president says the tire machines would have been moved
regardless of the vote, because they're old and dilapidated.
Goodyear says that's not true.
But outside this plant, local businesses are waging their own public
relations campaign... urging the two sides to return to the bargaining table.
Goodyear is Danville's second largest employer, with 21-hundred workers.

A Halifax County mother is warning other parents their children may not be
safe on the school bus-- after a judge reduced charges in a case involving her
Fifteen year old Daniel Morris was injured last month when 14-year old Chris
Easley allegedly attacked him on the school bus.
Easley's 13-year old brother Larry and 17-year old cousin admit they
punched, kicked and tried to drag Morris off the bus.
Judge Frank Slayton reduced the felony charges against Larry Easley to
assault and battery.
The others still face trial.

Recent studies link the drugs to heart and lung damage.
Both of the drugs were recently pulled off the market after they were found

mother whose son died after drinking antifreeze.
Sixteen-year old Brian Mitchell- a student at Lord Botetourt High School

about.... her days revolve around little Samantha, Caitlin and Robert...
Like the Fielbelkorn's the Coglin's are caring only for triplets.... and they

school football-- but what about racing? Here's Mike.
After one of the wettest seasons in Winston Cup history, it only seems
appropriate that rain would affect the schedule of events for this the final
race weekend of the season.
Qualifying for this Sunday's NAPA 500 was washed out today as showers and
thunderstorms paid a visit to the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
