Dawud Mu'Min (moo-meen') was convicted of killing a Prince William County
businesswoman in 19-88.
He gave no final statement before his execution.
Mu'Min already was in prison for another killing when he slipped away from a

Seven people were sent to the hospital yesterday after a tractor-trailer hit
a van, and a car with four teenagers in it, on Route 2-20 in Botetourt County.

State police say the truck came off Interstate 81 onto Route 2-20, and hit a
mini-van.
The van hit a car carrying four Lord Botetourt students.
Both vehicles slammed into a concrete divider, and the tractor trailer
rolled on top of the van.
The students suffered cuts and bruises.
The driver of the van hurt his shoulder, and was taken by helicopter to the
hospital.
The driver of the tractor trailer was charged with reckless driving.

which a mine roof collapsed--killing some coal miners.
SOLUS Coal, Incorporated of Ceder Bluff and Parts Corporation of America of
Coeburn along with employees from both companies face a total of 26
indictments.
The charges include falsifying information and safety violations.
If convicted SOLUS Coal could pay as much as eight- and- a- half million

million.
