create smaller, more independent operating units, the medical giant may sell as
many as 100 hospitals.
The staff at Lewis Gale expects to find out sometime this week how the Salem
hospital might be impacted.
For the past few months federal investigators have been looking into whether
Columbia was involved in Medicaid and Nedicare fraud, but that investigation
has NOT involved Lewis Gale.

thousand welfare receipients back in the workforce, and reduced the number of

The altercation started last night when Morris' wife accused the woman of
having an affair with the running back.
Morris allegedly grabbed April Brittain by the arms and throat
and tried to choke her.

substance abuse policy. That's led to a hearing next
week in Texas for violating his parole.

chance to see an pro game without traveling out of town.
Cunningham never rarely has such a luxury, his life is bouncing around the
league and taking pictures from Vancouver to Miami.

Scott began his photography career by sneaking into Virginia Tech games and
taking stills. He later moved on to the Art institute of Atlanta where he
began trading the Hawks, Falcons and Braves pictures for tickets.
Times have changed greatly since then. His photos have made the cover of
Sports Illustrated twice, and in 1987 he spent the entire NASCAR season
following Richard Petty around the country shooting pictures of the King for
the book - "The World of King Richard."
