An explosion almost leveled a Bedford County home tonight just outside of
Chamblissburg.
One neighbor said the force was enough to rattle his windows and send a
mushroom cloud into the air.
Officials believe one person is missing.

nearby hospital with what's being described as "pretty bad" burns.
One man was believed to be in the home and is still missing.
Again, a firefight
er confirmed the house contained a lot of explosives and that combined with
propane is believed to have triggered the blaze.
But, of course police continue to investigate the incident.

Blacksburg night spot is free.

body keeps has kept him from swinging until now.
Simpson has developed a device that will allow him and many others do more
than just play golf.

((It's called the Fore-arm Assistive Device or FAD and Simpson designed and
crafted the device for people like himself who suffer from paralysis or
amputation in the upper and lower areas of the arm.))

((Simpson uses the device for various chores around the house. For the past
four months the Clifton Forge native has driven to Roanoke to practice his golf
swing with the device.
And with the help of Drive a Way owner Kathy Hull the two have designed a
golf club that's light and fits the device perfectly.))

Lovers of red wine had reason to celebrate today with their first
opportunity to taste this year's vintage.

This season's (BOW-jah-lay NEW-voh) beaujolais nouveau arrived today.
While most wines improve with age, the (BOW-jah-lay) beaujolais is best
when served fresh.
The wine goes on sale the third Thursday in November every year.
This year's vintage arrived at Roanoke's Lee & Edwards Wine Merchants in a
vintage car today.
Sales are reported brisk there. The store says it has already sold all 85
cases it received today.
But don't despair more is on the way in a couple of weeks.
