Investigators are sifting through the rubble left when a home in
Chamblissburg exploded, killing one man.
A neighbor said the explosion rattled his windows and sent a cloud of smoke
into the air.

The incident happened at the home of Danny and Maria Beckner along Saunders
Road off route 6-16 in Chamblissburg last night.
The explosion and fire blew off the roof and gutted the inside of the home.
Officials are still trying to identify the body.
They say Maria escaped the fire and was taken to a nearby hospital.

An elderly man was found dead in his home in Henry County yesterday morning.
Authorities say the victim was 70- year- old John Henry Yancey, Senior of
Yancey's son found him lying in a pool of blood in an upstairs bedroom.
The son told investigators that he heard his father coughing and went
upstairs to check on him.
The cause of death has not been determined.
U-N weapons inspectors are back in Iraq today.
Under an agreement brokered by Russia, Baghdad has promised to let members
of the U-N special commission.. including Americans go back to work as soon as
The U-N hopes the Iraqis will provide free and unconditional access to all
sites believed to be hiding weapons of mass destruction.
But it's made no promises about lifting economic sanctions.
