But even after the situation was under control, the one officer stabbed the balloon several times, then began dancing.

Gaining weight is a habit that's hard to break for many Americans during the holidays.
Dieticians say it's not unusual for a person to put on about 10 pounds between now and New Year's.
But experts say with a little preparation, you can make it through Thanksgiving and into the New Year without the add ons.

Stephanie Taylor has a list of the top 10 foods and drinks guaranteed to help
you gain weight over the holidays---they include alcohol, egg nog, nuts, pecan

pie, candy such as chocolate covered cherries and toffee, cheese balls, cheese popcorn, snack mixes and chips and dips.

Anchor=Kimberly

Of course the list includes many holiday favorites and Taylor says it's not realistic to expect that we can stay away from all of them. The key, she says, is moderation.
In other words, skip the second helping and don't overindulge.
Another suggestion is to eat lower-fat items at other meals, to balance out the time when you're eating heavier.
And don't forget to exercise.
