Newsweek magazine says Boulder, Colorado district attorney Alex Hunter wants to present the case to a grand jury, hoping witnesses testifying in secret will give up information they haven't given police.
Hunter is also under pressure from a new Colorado law that says a report on the case must be made public, if the grand jury doesn't issue an indictment.
There are still no named suspects in the case.

((A sobriety checkpoint was set up near Vinton last friday night in an effort to curb holiday drunk driving.
There, law enforcement officials approached drivers to see if they had been drinking.
Officers don't just smell for an alcoholic beverage, they use other means of detection as well.
Not maintaining eye contact, speech patterns and other tell-tale signs can tip off an officer that the driver may have had one too many.
If an officer suspects the driver to be drunk, a series of simple coordination tests are done.

Tiger Woods won 60-thousand yesterday but his putter was off today and he was shutout over the final nine holes.

Lancaster was selected from one million entires in the Gillette Putting Challenge.
He worked for a week with former L-P-G-A player Jane Blalock. but his putt rolled over the edge of the cup. He didn't win the million but collected 50-thousand dollars and a kiss from his wife.
