red light in Prince George County, Maryland.
Lawson was driving a 1993 Lexus belonging to 72-year old Samuel J. York, who

been left off the all-Northwest Region football team.
Despite rushing for more than 22 hundred yards and leading the RVD in
scoring, Hickenbotham did not get one of the two running backs spots on the
postseason all-star team.
Fleming's Lee Suggs and Pulaski's Craig Hodge are the backs on the squad,
which will be released later this week.

put the Colonels on top.

as the team's chairman and CEO, Eddie DeBartolo Junior resigned amid reports
that he and former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards are about to be indicted by
a federal grand jury for gambling fraud.
The Miami Dolphins signed troubled running back Lawrence Phillips, who was
cut the Rams last week. Miami coach Jimmy Johnson used to be a junior high
guidance counselor. It's a good thing.
And former Redskins super bowl MVP Doug Williams will be officially announced
as the new head football coach at Grambling State this Thursday.

Christmas tree.
The tree at New York's Rockefeller Center is 74 foot high and has over 26
thousand lights.
This is the 65th year for the tree ceremony.
Construction workers during the Depression started the tradition to show they
were grateful to have work.
