Domaleski was in Delaware as a volunteer for the Americorps program.
He also spent many summers working for Lynchburg's Habitat for Humanity Chapter.
Friends there weren't surprised to hear Domaleski spent his Thanksgiving break working in a soup kitchen.

A Tennessee truck driver is charged with involuntary manslaughter after an early morning accident in Christiansburg that left one person dead and another critically injured.

Witnesses say 48-year old Harry Hoopes was pulling his tractor trailer out of a Radford rest stop onto Interstate- 81 when a car came up from behind.
The passenger side of the vehicle was crushed, the impact killed 19-year old Crystal Moss, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
The car's driver, 22-year old Harrison Mumford, also of Kentucky, was trapped for nearly half an hour, until rescue workers were able to free him.

69 pounds of nitro-glycerin exploded this morning at the Radford Army Ammunition plant, but no one was injured.
The mishap occured about five A-M in the Nitro-glycerin Pre-mix area.
The facility is automated, and a single operator was monitoring the procedure from a protective bunker.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation by the Army and Alliant Tech Systems.
Operations in the pre-mix area of the plant have been suspended temporarily.

The U-S Agriculture Department has issued a warning about a potentially fatal virus carried by droppings from deer mice and other wild rodents.
The illness is known as hantavirus.

Last month a Pennsylvania hunter died from the disease which has an 80 percent mortality rate.
Symptoms of hantavirus include chills, diarrhea, headache, weakness in the legs, and lungs rapidly filling with fluids, resulting in difficulty breathing.
Doctors say it can be passed from person to person.
There is no cure, but patients with mild cases usually survive.
The State Health Department says there have been no cases reported recently in Virginia.
Virginia health officials believe a hiker contracted hantavirus somewhere on the Appalachain Trail in 1994...but the source of the disease was never found.
