Bad news for nearly 200- workers at another Pulaski County plant.
Renfro Incorporated announced today it's closing its Jefferson Avenue plant
in dowtown Pulaski.
The plant manufacturers socks and employs about 550- workers.
350 of the workers will be transferred the company's Newbern Road plant--
The remaining 200- will be out of work.

Should Virginia become the only state in the nation to lower its drinking
age from 21 to 18?
It's worth some study, says Attorney General Richard Cullen.
It's one of the questions he's posed to his new task force studying college
That's after five Virginia college students have died in alcohol-related
accidents in five weeks.

Investigators tally the fire's damage at two point one million dollars.
They're hoping that number will convince a state agency to grant low

Red Cross aid.
That means the Red Cross may stop taking new cases.
