The evidence is in, so today the jury will hear closing arguments and begin
to deliberate whether Pete Tinsley killed Rick Knobel (kuh-NO-buhl) in self
defense.

He fired at least two shots from a handgun as Knobel tried to enter the
defendant's home on Bent Mountain.
The two had been drinking and began to argue over a pick-up truck.

a tax-break of up to two-thousand dollars a year.
That's what Governor Allen has proposed, but the General Assembly must still
approve it.
Allen is trying to make prepaid tuition more affordable.
Statistics show that the vast majority of people signing up for the program
are affluent white families.
