Two people were injured when their car collided with a tree in Montgomery County.

Rescue crews apparently had to free the driver from the wreckage- He was taken to Montgomery Regional hospital.
The passenger was seriously injured.
He was airlifted by Life Guard-Ten to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
State police are still investigating.

(MA-rifay) Marife Nichols filled in some gaps of Nichols whereabouts the week before the blast, but she could not provide an alibi for Nichols the day before the Oklahoma City bombing.
That's when prosecutors allege he was making the bomb.
Closing arguments are likely to come Monday with jury deliberations to follow.
If convicted, Nichols faces the death penalty.

Meridian controls the appetite by affecting chemicals in the brain--
The Heart Association cautions doctors about prescribing the drug because of the risks associated with high blood pressure, heart disease or uncontrolled hypertension.
The association's red flag warning follows health scares that caused diet drugs Fen-Phen and Redux (re-ducks) to be pulled off the market in September.

Alcohol has been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer and other diseases, but the study concludes that in moderation--it's healthful.
