A murder in Danville today brings that city's total to three for the month
of December.
The victim was 32-year-old Teresa Anderson Hayes of Providence, North
Carolina.
She was found shot in the head in a car along Chatham Avenue around 11:30
this morning.
Rescue crews pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police have no suspects or motive in the case and are still investigating.

airliner that went down Wednesday in the mountains north of Greece.

Rescue workers were hampered over the last three days by fog and snow.

The nearly new jetliner crashed on Friday, in clear weather over flat
