Bath County authorities say they've FOUND the three people who were feared
lost in a cave.
The trio was supposed to check in last night after exploring the Crossroads
Cave, but did not turn up.
Officials started searching for them late this afternoon, and they found
them safe about twenty minutes ago.
No word on why they were overdue.
Hoover Color in Pulaski County is searching for replacement workers now that
nearly all of the plant's hourly workers are on strike.
Employees have been walking the picket line outside the (High-wah-see)
Hiwassee plant since last week.
They're represented by the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Worker's International
Members say the contract offered does NOT include a retirement plan and
would increase their insurance costs.
They're also upset with the company's proposed absentee policy.
Now that it's holiday time most admit money is tight but say morale is good.

It certainly was too late for 52- year- old Kirby Lee Adams late Saturday
Several weeks ago, a Bedford County deputy posing as a woman met Adams in an
America Online chatroom, and after exchanging e-mail, reportedly arranged to
buy some marijuana from him.
In this message, the deputy told Adams she and her friend "Dawn" wanted to
buy some pot to -quote- "carry home with us.. I have not gotten really wasted
in a long time".
The deputy went on to write: ".. don't smoke it all before we get there..
we'll be there around midnight, ready to party".
But instead of a party, it was a police SWAT team that burst in on Adams

Police seized marijuana, scales and the so- called "date rape" drug
amitripraline from Adams' home.

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson wrote one check to Republican Jim
Gilmore's campaign for governor -- and was lambasted by Democrats for months
That check for 50-thousand dollars was in April.
But Robertson's name also shows up in federal campaign filings that weren't
even due until more than two weeks after the election.
As it turns out, Robertson gave another 200-thousand dollars to the
Republican National Committee one week before Gilmore was elected.
The Republican National Committee's various wings donated about a million
dollars to Gilmore in the final days of the campaign, bringing its total
contribution to Gilmore to over two million.
