The appeals court panel said, in a 2-to-1 ruling, that Brzonkala does have the right to sue Virginia Tech under Title Nine, and to sue the players under the 1994 Violence Against Women Act.
Former player Tony Morrison is now a student at Hampton University.
James Crawford is at Florida State.
The pair were never found guilty of any criminal violations in relation to Brzonkala's rape allegation.
Crawford's attorney calls the ruling "no more than a temporary victory for the Clintonistas."
Virginia Tech officials could NOT be reached for comment.

Police have arrested an 18-year old Danville man for allegedly killing a North Carolina woman.
Stanford Lamont Lipscomb of (Call-quinn) Colquhoun Street faces charges of capital murder and robbery.
Police say he shot 32-year old Teresa Anderson Hayes, whose body was found in her car last weekend.

The second floor had apparently been renovated into an apartment.
One person was taken to Lewis Gale Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

The carriage house is located in the middle of the Ridgewood Farms community.

A panel made of faculty, staff, and active and Alumni fraternity members made the recommendation.
The decision comes after drug and alcohol violations were discovered in October.
The fraternity will be able to re-charter in the 2000-2001 academic year.

Dr. Russell Nockels, who operated on the linebacker, said at news conference that Brown was not quadriplegic. The doctor also said Brown is off the ventilator and able to breathe on his own.
